For those who love to give the fascinated color to your car, its easy...just follow this:
First collect all the items required for doing the car paint job. You need masking tape, car washing detergent, car wax or grease remover, primer, urethane-based car paint, paint spray gun, sandpaper, and clean cloth.
Once you gather all the materials, wash your car thoroughly with the car washing detergent. Remove all the debris, dust, and grime from the car exterior.
Use car wax or grease remover to remove stubborn stains and then clean the exterior with water. You can even use putty to fill up small holes in the exterior.
Dry your washed car using a clean cotton cloth and then sand down all the rough car areas. Rub sandpaper on the rough areas so that the exterior can be smoothen and you can get a better finish.
After completely drying your car, cover the areas like car windows, mirrors and door trimmings with masking tape so that no stains are left over on these areas.
Then apply primer on the car. This forms the base of any car paint. Primer will help to make the car paint adhere well to the exterior.
Make sure that there is enough ventilation before you start priming or painting. Also protect it from dust and insect. Therefore, it is best to park the car in an enclosed area with ventilation while painting your car.
After the primer gets dry, again sand down the rough areas of the car exterior. Make sure to wear glasses and cover the exposed areas of the skin with suitable covering for eye and skin protection.
Now, start painting your car. Use a urethane-based car paint and apply on the car exterior using a spray gun. After applying the base coat let it dry for about ten to fifteen minutes.
Then apply the final paint coat and let it dry for about 30 to 40 minutes. Your car will now give an appealing and fresh look.
